Removing Waterlox®s finishes from “unintended” surfaces.

Waterlox®s finishes once dry are difficult to remove. If some has made its way to an unintended surface and has cured, we only know of a few ways in which to remove it.

Suggested methods for removal:

  1. Razor blade knife;
  2. Acetone (nail polish remover); and/or
  3. Chemical Paint Stripper.

Our suggested methods for removal may not be safe for the surface in which you are trying to remove the dried and cured Waterlox; therefore you should test first.
