- Applies easily with a quality China bristle or foam brush or one recommended for use with oil-based paints. Sanding is not necessary between coats for adhesion purposes.
- Coverage: For best results, apply liberally at 500 square feet per gallon per coat.
- For use on exterior surfaces in direct sunlight/UV as a sealer only and in conjunction with our Waterlox Original Marine Finish. Apply 1- 2 coats to prime, followed by 2 coats of our Waterlox Original Marine Finish.
- Designed as the prime coat portion of our Marine finishing system which performs best over bare wood.
- Exceptional adhesion to oily, dense, exotic woods like teak, rosewood (other than Cocobolo), and Ipe.
- Not recommended for use on pressure-treated woods, or exterior horizonatal surfaces in direct sunlight, such as decks.
- Not designed as a primer coat to be used over previously finished surfaces.
- Same product as Waterlox Original Sealer/Finish.
- Apply all intended coats to a small, inconspicuous area or a scrap piece of wood from the project and allow to dry prior to applying to the entire surface. Final color effect is always influenced by the grain, texture, porosity, species of wood, and by method of application.
